Good Morning Children.
So happy to hear you're all doing so well. Great House Annie. I think you'll have an easier time of it there. We had an older house when we first got married too. That was the one with the old lady next door that had a dozen cats and used to burn their litter in the fireplace. Whew!.
I spoke to Hally, Freckles and Rainbow and they won't mind moving to Utah as long as it's not too cold.
I had an unusual experience yesterday. I was walking out of Sacrament Meeting and heading to my Gospel Doctrine class when the Stake President's secretary pulled me aside and asked me to meet with President Thompson after Church. I thought, great that can't be good.
I figured they'd call me back to the high council or something, but turns out they're re-organizing our Ward this Sunday.
After about 6-years, they're releasing Bishop Lamb, Tom Hampton and Dennis Lempke as the bishopric.
They've called Merrill Chandler (an older brother who's been on the high council for sometime) to be the new bishop. Sister Chandler was just put-in as Relief Society President.
And as biszarre as it may sound, he's asked for me to be his First Counselor. President says I'm the third former bishop to be called back into a new bishopric in the Stake. (must be a trend). They called Dave Lawrence to be the Second Counselor. Anyway, that happens this Sunday. I'm really going to miss teaching Gospel Doctrine.
Seems like calls are going in cycles. It was about 20 years ago when I was teaching Gospel Doctrine before and they pulled me in the bishopric to be Randy Petersen's First Counselor.
I'm having to do some serious repenting to find out what I did to tick-off the Lord. But Oh, well.
If you get a chance to see this past Saturday's Church News, you'll see Gary Doxey was called as a Mission President. Gary's my cousin. Aunt Joanne and Uncle Dave Doxey's son. He'll be going to Mexico according to my Mom.
Well keep up the good work. Annie let me know what you need done (and money you may need) Well I guess that's true for all of you. Happy to help with what I can.
Love you all.
Dad.

Dumb question....so with you in the bishopric does that mean that you could possibly marry me and oscar or does it have to be a bishop?

It has to be a bishop. But nice try anyway.
