Hola mi familia!

Thought I'd give you an update. All is pretty well here at the home front. Mom's doing OK. She's still having trouble sleeping at night. We'll just have to work through that I guess. We're trying to get Walker geared up for the pump. His doctor is a little concerned about his growth. She wants to give him growth hormone (like James had years ago) but that tends to throw his blood sugar levels all over the place. So she's hoping the pump will help keep him regulated better.

Didn't hear from Mike for a couple of weeks. He explains the library was closed on his preparation day. (I hate it when that happens.). Anyway I'm enclosing Mike's latest e-mail for you all:
"Hey Dad,
Sorry I wasn't able to write last week, for some reason the library was closed, I think for inservice or something. I was a little upset, because we are only aloud to use email on Preperation Day.
I'm glad to hear that everyone is doing at least alright. I pray for everyone, every night, and I know that Satan is just tring to discourage me, and everyone else, too.
It's been getting cold here the past week or so. Sunday morning when we got to the church, there was frost all over the ground, and the car told us that it was 31 degrees outside. It was really cold. My trainer decided to that we were going to use bikes for the day, needless to say I was a little upset. But it turned out fine, we met a girl who had been taught by the missionaries before, and wanted to continue with the lessons. So I've learned not to complain to much, because I will be blessed as I continue doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
Anyway things here are great, it's pretty much the same thing just different people. I can't remember if I told you about the family that we are working with, they have 9 kids all under the age of 11. If we get them baptised, it will be 5 new converts, I'm pretty excited.
It's time for me to go, I love you all, and miss you all. Keep writing me whenever you get the chance, and don't forget about me at Christmas. Oh, by the way, I realy realy realy realy need Jessica's mailing address, not email address, so could you send that to me ASAP?

Love you all
Elder Young"

WELL THAT'S GOING TO DO IT FROM HOME FOR NOW.
JESS, NICE PIX OF YOU AND GARRET. I'M GLAD THAT YOU SEEM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW.
NOW, EVERYONE PRAY FOR JAMES THAT HE CAN FIND A FRIEND TOO. WE WENT TO NICHOLAS LEMKE'S WEDDING RECEPTION AT THE LEMKE'S THE OTHER NIGHT. HE WAS RECENTLY RE-BAPTIZED AND IS TRYING TO TURN HIS LIFE BACK AROUND. HE MARRIED A VERY NICE GIRL FROM PARAGONAH, UTAH (DOWN NEAR PAR0WAN DOWN SOUTH) I THINK JAMES WAS A LITTLE DISCOURAGED THAT IF EVEN NICK COULD FIND SOMEONE LIKE THAT WHAT'S UP WITH HIM. I'VE TRIED TO ASSURE HIM IT'S A TIMING THING AND HIS TIME WILL COME. SO HANG-IN THERE.
LOVE TO ALL.
DAD
