Good Morning Young Family.

I know many of you had to work on Thanksgiving. I did (as usual). But with all the hustle and bustle of the weekend from getting "the big meal" completed to considering the big shopping weekend, I thought it would be important to stop and consider some of the things we can be truely thankful for this year.

I'm thankful for each of you. You've all grown into such great people I can't express how lucky I am to know you and to think I had a small part in your lives.

I know that life gives us many challenges. Believe me the past 10 years have not really been a picnic as you know. But this year we've finally been able to get out from under some burdens and find a little room to breathe financially. I know some of you are still struggling as you develop your careers and life's work. Be patient. It does take time.

Yesterday we had a good meal courtesy of Mom who got up at 5am to put the turkey in the oven to cook; Greg helped make the stuffing; Walker made the Crescent rolls; Dad and Mike helped buy all the goodies and (of course helped eat them.) The meal as always took a while, and was over in a short time and we were back to work etc for another year.

Walker is so excited about going to Camp Keep on Monday. Mikey is going as his Chapperone. Walker for the past week has built himself a little fort in the living room to practice camping out.

It was a good day overall. The only things missing were the "Big three" in Utah. We miss you guys so much.

Thanks James and Annie for sharing your photos on this blog. We'll have to find a way to do that here too.

Well I've got to dash to the drug store to get a glucagone kit for Walker before they close, so he can take that with him to camp.

Stay well, healthy and try not to be discouraged. With all the let-downs that are out there I hope you always remember that your family will always be here for you, as will our Heavenly Family too.

Love. Dad.
